The Quiet Girl

by Stephen - Taurus

Funny framed glasses and a freckled nose
She looks to be shy I suppose
She hides behind her books
Ignoring all the strange smerks and looks
She's afraid to even speak or smile
But she does listen to people every once in a while
She walks aimlessly through the halls
Writing all her secret crushes on the bathroom walls
Her name never before heard
She has one I think, although I'm not sure
My curiosity for her grows each day gone by
I feel the need to ask her why, why is she so shy
I try to let her know that I am someone she may confide in
I always tell her that I am her friend and that she is my freind
Now I have reached her soul
A thing that not one person has ever been told
I just want to be there for her and let her no that I care
Even if it's the "secretest most secret", with me she can share
Well, as days went on and we grew older
I would be there everyday for her to wipe her tears on my shoulder
Other people wouldn't give her a chance because they thought she was different
I think they would be quiet too if they knew no one would listen
My curiosity quickly grew into a feeling of a new kind
And for a while this had been on my mind
I took her to a place with no noise
And spoke to her in a soft, subtle voice
I placed the ring around her finger on my bended knee
And said; I have always been there to help you, now it's your turn to help me

Reason for writing:

    Just something I made up.
