From the very first glance, You had me entranced, The first time we met, You took my heart, And called it your own, And kept it safe from worry and fret, Right from the start, Loves seeds were sown The time went fast, Memories blew past, Trial ends in happiness, Love in your eyes, A soothing balm, Lets me egress, To times I lie, At peace in your arms. Until the day, You went away, While I stood in wait, By the door, Longing for you to once more come How cruel is fate?
