The Untold Eyes of Fate

by Jared Stipelman - Virgo

From the very first glance,
You had me entranced,
The first time we met,
You took my heart,
And called it your own,
And kept it safe from worry and fret,
Right from the start,
Loves seeds were sown

The time went fast,
Memories blew past,
Trial ends in happiness,
Love in your eyes,
A soothing balm,
Lets me egress,
To times I lie,
At peace in your arms.

Until the day,
You went away,
While I stood in wait,
By the door,
Longing for you to once more come
How cruel is fate?
As I lay here wanting more,
And feeling like a bum,

But as the sun rises and returns from whence it came,
As the moon can wax and wane,
Yet another beauties face,
Has caught my eye,
Made me feel the truth behind love,
Exiling you to a cold place,
For she will never make me cry,
In the corner of my sight I see a dove,

And now my spirit soars again,
My conscience and heart no longer stained,
As I look in her eyes,
I see an eternity unfold,
Where all is right and pure
And wherever one scries,
They’re greeted visions of gold
And now I know one thing to be sure,

I’m in love,
I’m at peace,
Bring it on,
