Though existence may be a ocean rife, With beings of malice, epitomes of strife, And when emptiness incarnate dominates your soul, Seas of loss take their toll, When theirs no discerning night and day, The meadowlarks chirp and the coyotes bay, When you see life as a means to an end, Remember that people can transcend, The mere words that they hear and spake, The ripple of a pebble in the lake, For their truly is no greater crime, Then to not be there to seize the time, For though what’s spoken can be harsh, Diseasing your mind like fetid marsh, Losing hopes a forbidden sin, As faith is where it all begins
