Hi -- Bronwen here. I just wanted to apologize for all the unecessary trouble that has come of this. We've worked it out, and there's no longer a problem. So, moving on: Susan called me on the phone a while ago. She's very embarrassed. She didn't mean to accuse Matt of actual plagerism, but something called "parroting," where events or a format, etc., are re-arranged and repeated. And then, she was just angry; she wasn't even thinking of the fact that Matt's poem was based on an actual event, one that he experienced. She just put the two subjects together -- lying on the couch, watching TV, talking, etc. And then the format. So, Susan says she realizes that what looked like parroting is really not parroting. Just an account similar to mine. And she would apologize for herself, but she's already left the library (where we both use the computers) and wasn't allowed to return. Luckily, I live right across the street from the library. So, that was a very long post! Again, I'm sorry. Matt has given me credit for the format, and all is well.
