I have built walls up around me Surrounding my empty tears Cold fears With my small hands I've pieced together inner struggles Forgotten promises Stolen morals Placed them in the wall of disillusionment Set to protect me from lost fools hoping to get lucky Drunken savages looking to rob me of my heart and soul And taking them to be their own Built strong around me it hides the pain I cannot endure Nor cannot face It locks in the tears that have ravaged within my eyes Yet the brick and clay is slowly crumbling away Falling down upon me Within these lips… Nightmares released Within these eyes… Lost dreams bleed Within these hands… Shelter is sought; The walls cave in Burying me within the broken heaven A breath of life released with each tear of sacrifice My soul pours out the ruins And a stranger opens his heart and lets me in For the first time… I am understood I am loved I am unchained.Birth sign: Scorpio
