The Silent Play Cast your shadow on a cardboard wall Open the door and watch it fall The world's held in place by unspoken lies The truth hidden behind every person's eyes Where real and unreal converge, you will find A universe inside every human mind Waging the war between hope and fear Ignoring what it doesn't wish to hear Here takes place the silent play Muting the words that, in truth, we say For the truth may not fit our own desires And so we live in dreams as liars It's hard to tell what is and isn't real For we project onto others the emotions we feel So little we know and truly understand Our security built on shifting sands So what of those who see through the illusion And find their way through the mists of confusion? Are they happy to see life with all its scars To see people as they really are? Heaven or hell, I just cannot say So let us dream for another day This is the secret that you must keep The demon that must be left to sleepBirth sign: Aquarius
