Dark Night Of The Soul Where do you turn? When the doctors and priests cannot answer your questions When the wind of rejection blows through your soul When you can't find someone to look up to When there's no one else playing your role What do you do? Like a jigsaw piece that just won't fit You force your way into the crowd Only to find that you'll never belong For your thoughts are not allowed How should you feel? The ground that shifts under your feet Threatens to swallow you whole The black sky cracks with thunder The dark night of the soul Who will save you? You can scream and wail my friend But no one will understand You'll only find cheap security In holding someone's hand Where do you go from here? Take a look around and see You're not the only one A life of easing suffering Is now what must be done Will you ever be happy? Contented is the person Who lives for other's needs Happiness is a flower That can only blossom far from weedsBirth sign: Aquarius
