Mom I just want to say thank you For all the awful things that you do You have taught me Exactly what I should not be Thank you Mom for taking time today To listen to me tell you all the things I have to say You can't even take the time To talk on Mother's Day Yeh, Thanks Mom for the tears I cry today You do not love me It is easy to see I am just a toy to you Play with me and put me on the shelf when you are through You say that I do not try To be a part of your life But it is because of you that each night I cry You say that you love me But that just cannot be You have more important things to do If only you knew How I've always wanted a Mother Just like all the others Someone to hold me when I cry And pick me up to help me try But instead I got you You're never happy no matter how good I do I have finally had enough I am saying goodbye today Even if it is Mother's Day When you decide to give up the drink And finally you are able to think Give me a call And please do remember, I still love you Mom. I just hate the things you do.
