Before I cross the Line

by Will McLeod - Taurus

As I glance through the shadows
of thoughts in my mind

I come across things that
I have left behind

Unable to see
what has been unleashed

I become afraid and
start to weep.

Memories of hurt, and lots of pain
feel my heart, and flood my dreams

having no control
of my feelings at all

I sit in a corner
with my back to the wall

A sudden peace feels my soul
and finally since that I'm not alone

All this time, I've had someone there
to pick me up, and wipe my tears

His love were like hands
that held my heart

He told me he came from a place
in the stars

I awake with this thought
tucked in my mind

That Jesus came and saved
me, before I crossed the line.

Reason for writing:
