Two Tone Poem
Part of me is easy blue
hyper and excited
loud and friendly,
talking and listening to music.
But deep inside there is another part,
light white, like milk in a jar
lonely and bashful ,
timid and afraid around strangers
Yet they're are both real,
and both me!
Some days I'm sunny yellow -
full of laughter and jokes,
like a wet duckling, ready to take on the world!
Other days I'm dark black-
grumpy and slumpy and weary and teary,
mad and sad and all fed up
But watch out, folks,
'cause today I'm yellow!
