It's going to be our senior year, But I will never forget who has always been there. You seem to be there, every time I'm feeling down, Only you, can turn my frown, upside down. You define the true meaning of a friend, In which I absultely could never forget. You lift my spirits when you come around, Now we have to go our seperate ways, and I'm left with a great big frown! You mean the world to me, You could never be replaced, But if I never see you again, I will always remember your sweet face! We are the best of friends, now going our own ways, But I will always look back on yesterday. I will miss you all, But you the most, Cause I know you are a part of my heart, And now that we are seniors, We will eventually part. These past couple of years, You were the one, That always made me, have so much fun! It is almost time to say good bye, But I know in my heart that you will always be there, Just like you were for all those years! Fare well my best friend, The future is now ours, It is time to start our own lives, But eventually we will be togehter again. I Love You, My Very Best Friend!!
Reason for writing:
The inspiration of this poem was to my best friend that has been there for me through thick and thin. We are going to be seniors next year, and we will go our seperate ways, and he means the world to me. I value our friendship very much. We were never a couple and never wanted to be. We were just best friends who told eachother everything.
