If you don’t know where to find me In the azure sky you will see A lost girl swirling all around Hoping she won’t crash to the ground Her energy comes only from a surge of love That propels her, makes her soar, up high above Aove the little houses, over the trees And over the rough water of the seas She’ll be painting pictures in the sun filled sky With the clouds she floats on way up high And she’ll be there, soaring, on a beautiful day But the girl eventually, will have to float down And the smile on her ugly face will turn to a frown And tears of sadness she’ll rain from her eyes Because she longs to go back into the wide blue skies And now, on the ground, unhappiness overwhelms Her, crying there, sinking into the realms Of her imagination that can take her anywhere And she only needs someone to help take her there
Reason for writing:
I often feel like this is true, I have to "fly", meaning escape reality, and when I get back into the real world, it comes as a shock to me because it's hard to accept.
