I dreamed a dream last night About you... And in that dream, you held me And then, slowly, you flew away And I tried to make you stay Because I never wanted to let you go But slowly,. silently, you slipped away And as I watched you fly among the stars in the ebony blanket, I waved, I blew you a kiss... But you never looked back And then I woke up, with tears in my eyes

this is a dream I had a couple weeks ago, about my boyfriend, ironically we broke up the day after I wrote the poem, even though he has never read it
