I cant figure out if you still love me But I just can't let it be That you'll find someone else better And forget all about me. I can't decide if I still love you My heart says it plan as day That nothing will ever come between The day that WE came to be. Now those days, they're all gone And things are as awkward as can be Two hearts mixed with love and hatred Can't decide which way to go. The love they had is all still there But they are to blind to see They let other lovers in their life And are miserable as can be.
Reason for writing:
'Lovers' is about my ex-boyfriend. I wrote this around the end of January when I thought that I still loved him. I still love him as a friend, but nothing more. But this is a good poem for any young lovers whose family or friends will not let them be together. At least, in my opinion.
