But when they come shambling up, Toes flowering from mismatched shoes, Hair more tangled that deceit, Life worn like cast off clothes, . When they come shambling up, Accidentally make eye contact, Look as if they might want to talk, Suddenly your interested in the pavement, Pray most fervently and then look away. .
