I never thought that I would be where I am today That I would ever stand here, afraid and so ashamed I never thought that it would come down to all that it had That I would have to choose betweent the choices on my hands I always thought that I could be anything that I chose to That I had so many options and the roads continued through I always thought that there were many endless avenues That all I had to do was put my mind to good use I have come to realize that there are many mountains high I have come to recognize what is fear I have come to realize there must be trials to survive I have come to recognize what is pride As I stand alone right now, I am the center of the sky When I open up my eyes I am at peace As I'm standing I can feel the waves of clouds roll past my feet When I open up my heart I am released written by Kerri Abney

This is where I am in life with myself. I have overcome torturous trials, and stood up to my fears to be able to be here today, for that I am so thankful.
