Such will never keep us apart… I love you… For simple reasons… For your tears each time we say goodbye… For your quivering voice as you say goodnight… For the way you hold me close as I sleep…. For the soothing words you whisper as I weep… I love you … For simple reasons… Because you treat me as an equal and as a friend… Because you listen to my never ending woes… Because you never take me for granted… Because you make me feel completely elated… I love you… For simple reasons…. I cannot explain or articulate… I cannot deny or ignore… I cannot blame or defy… I cannot resist, only comply…. I love you… For simple reasons…. I love you… Because no one can make my heart beat faster… Or make my spirit soar and take flight… Or make my soul complete and replete… And make each day worth each minute lived… And make each tomorrow glorious and full of promise….
