The pain I feel inside me... Is more than you may ever know It hurt so much within me To agree to let you . We agreed to do it now Before our feeling both grew stronger Than to do it when you left When our relationship could be no longer. We said it was the easiest thing... But it was the hardest for me Letting someone slip away That I had cared for so deeply. The tears that flowed could not suppress The hurt that plunged so deep But the special memory of what we had Is something I will forever keep.

My boyfriend and I decided to break up so that when he left it wouldn't be so hard. But it was very hard for both of us and we got back together.
