Oh, Dawn to Come

by S. L. Butterworth - Pisces

I Stand in this place,
This is where I am.
To walk away,
Never that can be.
The Sun has turned it's back on me,
Took everything,
Leaving shadows all to see.
The Laughter's gone,
Ran with my soul,
Ran and left night,
It stole the light.
Oh, for the dawn to come,
So that I can see again.
