Curse

May the gray skies open wide,
and consume me whole,
may a thief come in the night,
to steal my soul,
may each day I live,
be bitter and cold,
may I shrivel in my youth,
wither and turn old.

May people shun me,
where i was once  adored, 
may every day of activity,
leave me helpless and bored.

May each love I encounter,
love and disperse,
may I remain an eternal victim,
of this self inflicted curse.

May I deny myself,
all the I deserve,
May I be destitute, 
until I have learned
