what if...it never happened

by devon vega - Taurus

in my room, its raining. i stopped for the moment as i
remembered the touch of a flower's morning dew. i felt the
softness of night's kiss as it prepared to face its own
extinction. how delicate and fragile this chain of life.
what had the night whispered into the ears of the earth
that made her cry? show me the face of time as i sit here
in this garden that blooms under stars whose brilliance
seems eternal. Close the ocean and let heaven bloom on the
earth for the people to enjoy her beauty. A complete
reversal of emotion. A complete removal of sensation. I
died there in the vastness of her beauty. The entire earth
now became eden in her presense. Only I was witness of her
charm and this nobility that bespoke of royalty. How
honoured was I to be seen by her…let alone be blessed of
her touch. Soft and curious. Alighted as if it were a
feather surfing on a gentle wave of unseen wind. I felt
nothing had ever touched my skin until she. A cloud I
became, touched by the sun. I felt life, your life, my
life, emitted by the spark of energy between us. A spark
the whole world would be blinded by.

We had a few days left to believe in the dream. Only one
small instant to discover the reasons why we smile. Our
smiles so wide and pure even the sun was in awe. Standing
in your air, I held onto you and kissed away the silly
little thoughts of loneliness. How fair is that? A kiss
for your smiles. Forever, even with yesterday. Those words
that your eyes sang into mine, I knew it was going to last
forever this time.

Reason for writing:

because i believed it was real...
