let me caress you with the sound of my voice, even though it be transparent and wispy like the thin air of the night. let my thoughts run down along your cheek as they seek out your pleasure. let me become a part of your mind for this one tender moment as we discover the secrets of our very souls. let these secrets become ever so great and powerful as we are swept off from this mundane world and taken up to a place most sensual. we held our own midnight masses as we called up the most intimate feelings. what strange and beautiful creatures these feelings. they burned through me and sought you out like a ghost seeks out a host. we felt the strength of our emotions beginning to turn inside us. the storm we created began its fatal journey. but our fire held strong. we crashed headfirst into this curious game. what were we looking for that we lay there in the dark for hours, night after night. transcending into worlds that could only exist in our most private of fantasies. for me it seemed like an eternity. an incredible dance in rhetoric that we shared, it was the coming together of two unique minds; unique but frighteningly similar. our intensity of desire held us to one another like no other adhesive ever could. what was the word i said that kept you at my side? how could i ever imagine myself without you there. you, who showed me the inner workings of a tender young mind. i was so lost, enveloped by my own regret before you came along. you opened my eyes and placed your hand on my heart. you took me from this turmoil and walked me through the garden of your dreams. but it was real. how could i ever dream something so beautiful. my mind had never felt or experienced anything like you before. and i held onto you. i felt the force of life flowing from you into me with every passing whisper. my life filled up with undeniable revelry. my dark world became lit with the soft, translucent glow from your soul. i beheld the things that had always been there. they took their place in my universe as only a perfect picture could portray. we shared a few precious moments together...enjoying those things that make us who we are. what was this unbearable thrill that pulsed inside me as you sat there next to me, in my arms? how can i describe it but perhaps as some untouchable feeling inside me. waiting to be let loose upon you. this beast that hungered for you was my own creation, but it was spawned of your memories. what images i had of you aided in its birthing. and in your presence, it was summoned. it crept in on you and stalked you down. waiting for you to call me in. this magnificent creature that felt only ardor in its chest. it came down on you like a light mist rolling in. a fog in twilight. it consumed both you and me in our moments of intimacy. it ravaged and fed on my pleasure like some bloodthirsty animal. it could not be tamed. but you found a way. you tamed this beast in me and made it your own. we returned to this our world and lived in the sunshine of our youth. the time you gave me still finds itself in me. it is the explosive force that sends me into a sensual drift whenever i think of you. and we stood there, for hours it seemed. we watched in wonder as our bodies took over and they became one in the stillness of the infinite ocean of night. what could i ever do to take your heart from this crazy world? what dreams could i ever offer you that you haven't already had? let me discover those places of your heart that are forbidden. let me open the door into your most private realm. let me bring into you the creativity that i have found. let me bring to you stimulation and excitement. let me enjoy the little tremors of your hand as it brushes down my face. let me once again feel the curiosity. let this mystery be resolved in me, even if it be a fragment at a time. show me the wonders of your mind. let me feel again the innocent curiosity that held me captive as i explored the curves of your face. the softness that mystified me in those small hours. what dreams could come to me did when i was with you. i closed my eyes and let my lips find you, waiting for me there. your own lips consumed me like a creature consumes some sweet fruit. what unbelievable ecstasy overwhelmed me then that i could not speak. you swallowed my words as i tried desperately to express myself to you. i could only sigh in beautiful rapture. my heart still skips a beat every time i think of you. my life has new meaning. and color. what shades i have witnessed are redefining my sky. no more are there any grey clouds lingering for reasons unknown. my sky is filled with the sound of your sweet song, your voice. i breathe in the words that have been spoken in my name. what have i done to merit such a noble prize? does my heart know what to do with these feelings as they swell up inside of me? i can feel you living from a distance. i can hear your heart beating from a million lifetimes removed. when next we meet, let me once again find the beauty that i call my most dearest friend.
