Sonnet For Doomed Love What force brought us together, in love Across mountains of derision and scorn Some celestial spark that came from above Yet never the rose without the thorn What cruel fate that made you choose Between your loved ones and your loving heart They could not accept my love for you And so our bliss was torn apart They stained my name with deeds impure And filled your mind with calumnious lies Now, reluctant, I must leave your door With soft caress and tear filled eyes In this world of weeds, few flowers endure And our frail love was a flower too pure.Birth sign: Aquarius
