In the darkness of night, In the shadows of darkness, In a clouded hopeless world, There I live in the shadows. Till you came, a spear of light, A ray of hope in the clouded skies, Piercing the darkness, dissipating the shadows. You took away the poison, Unclenched my fist, You blunt the blade, And killed the darkness. In my life, I know a friend, Given a chance, I'll love her, But like the Darkness and the Light, I know that cannot be. Till she gives thought to me, I'm thankful for what she has done for me.
Reason for writing:
Well, no particular reason, just wanted to express my feelings for a friend i admire. She should know who she is, but like i wrote, I am the Darkness and she is the Light, together we cannot be, at least through this poem, she'll know i still feel for her
