'Shelter of my storm'

by Mirror Mist - Scorpio

Shelter of my Storm.

She takes refuge inside an empty heart;
through the well she fills with tears.
She carries the scent of violets,
to reside with her within these fears.
She had offered up her body,
to all who would keep it warm.
Now she blows kisses and walks the corridors,
in this shelter of my storm.

From stale cigarettes inside my fiery soul,
she lights a foolish grin.
She has lost the memories of her life,
but remembers the box they were in.
She dances with a chorus of innocence,
her body ragged and torn.
She has come to make love with the darkness,
in this refuge of my storm.

She dances with fragrance of lavender,
wearing pellucid chiffon violet in hue.
For abandoned hearts of melancholia,
she floats on the breeze to renew.
Emerging from a canvas that faces the wall,
her smile makes love to the night.
She whispers to me and tells me I'm free,
as her lips touch my heart she takes flight.

Once again she floats by with her violet stem,
perfumed with smiles and kisses.
She looks for the box that holds memories lost,
for she wants to release her three wishes.
Abandoned plans to elope with the seducer of hope,
to fall in love with the darkness.
It is with he she'll be warm in this eye of my storm,
for it is here she is safe from the heartless.
