She thrashed upon the bed sheets entangling themselves about her hips and thighs as she ran through the mist, her heart pounding in her ears Her labored breath caught in her throat as branches grabbed and caught her gown The strap ripped from her shoulder, falling uselessly revealing the swell of heaving breast Wrenching from the grasping arms of the tree, she stumbled on in the dark Her tender feet falling soft upon the warm, rich earth invisible in the misty gloom Onward she raced past ghostly shadows hovering, waiting along her path Looming up, bright red eyes, the demons of the past Laughing insanely reaching out to torture with hellish glee She dodged and ran, the litany repeating in her brain... 'Oh please, Oh please don't let it be...' As she found herself before the grave she fell upon her knees The feeble light of the silvery moon illumined words upon the stone As she screamed and cried and raked her skin tearing at her hair Before the grave of love that's gone A marriage buried beneath the stone of hate, and unforgiveness She came awake within her room with tears upon her face Crying out his name that echoed back within the ink black gloomBirth sign: Pisces
