I dreamed a dream of you and of me. I dreamed a dream of we. I dreamed a dream that was painful to see wherein I did kneel and weep. I dreamed a dream I looked in your eyes. Was what I saw there a lie? Your honey words did convince me to fall, and what lied therein to deny. I dreamed a dream I would have be true I would gladly give all to live that moment once again wherein I was compelled to fall... I dreamed a dream you remained but a night, after which you took swift flight leaving me with blurred sight fading with the setting moonlight. I dreamed a dream that I would love, yea, would give all of my self only to find you'd leave me behind ragged, torn upon dusty shelf. I dreamed a dream with honey you spoke, a precious promise to make, but you let it fall and shattered it all, and with it, I too, did break. Now naught is left of you or of me. Nay, nothing is left of we. I dreamed a dream too painful to see, and I awoke----weeping.
