Sonnet For Deluded Love Beware, beware, she has changed her hair All illusions have shattered like glass Her enchanting face, which she used to wear Could only have been a mask Who is this person who now stands before me Talking of such incongruous things? Had I noticed before that she always ignores me To what delusion did I foolishly cling? I have lived too long in a kingdom of dreams And she, too, inhabits that twilight state In that wondrous world, love is so serene Yet when the bubble bursts, love can turn to hate I fell in love with someone that I wanted her to be And when I rouse her from her dreams, she will wake in miseryBirth sign: Aquarius
