Louise (The Adventurer)

by Stuart Logan - Sagittarius

Louise

When the day is dawning, and the songbirds are calling
you can find her walking the hills
through radiant sunshine, she'll do it in her time
it's her life and she'll get the thrills
across all the mountain, a sparkling fountain
of youth for the good times ahead
and there will be pleasure, and there will be treasure
wherever that she lays her head

Fun and laughter, and love ever after
you can hear the child in her eyes
it's her life to please, her name is Louise
forever her beauty never dies

On the West Highland Way, at the break of the day
or The Dingle and Pennines she'll roam
she'll get inspiration, as she crosses the nation
and with her your never alone
she'll look on the bright side, as she crosses the fellside
on The Coast To Coast she'll walk strong
and if she is in key, and if you are lucky
she may even sing you a song

Through all kinds of weather, she'll pursue this endeavour
in a garden of flowers she'll rest
when dark clouds are rising, she'll find silver linings
contrary, sacred and blessed
