Our life goes by so quickly and our kids grow up so fast

We have so many freedoms that we take for granted everyday
We come and go as we please, we have freedom in what we say
So many died along the way, they died for me and you
So many sons and daughter's, so many I never knew
They gave the greatest gift they had so we could now be free
They shed their blood in foreign lands, that I will never see
Time goes on and we forget to share the memories of our past
