Sitting on a Stool in A bookstore (II)

by F.I. - Cancer

Are people lost by their actions?
Can they not infer needed subtractions?
Is it in the people’s hands,
to tear away at the core, that which breaks up lands?

Can people see beyond their mirror,
and truly look outside themselves clearer?
Can we take our coffers and dump them out,
without having any bit of doubt?

We don’t have any faith
in that which doesn’t occupy our space.
What would these people do
if they really believed He knew?

The fact of images and things
allows a bad feeling that brings
about wonder
as these people blunder.

Maybe we were all created to do this,
to shoot the arrow and casually miss.
Perhaps one day the earth will see
that heaven could be a possibility.
