Infront of me you layed
Against the pillow, your face
Towards me, your eyes stare elsewhere
My eyes focused on to yours
My mind only imagining what your thinking of
or who
My hand, wanting to caress
Your cheeks and feel your hair
My fingers, wanting to feel
Your shoulders under their tips
My arms, wanting to wrap
Your body against mine
My heart, beating each second
Faster as a minute goes by
You, my heart
You, my soul
My everything and anything
You complete me; whole

Reason for writing:
I was in a poetic drought from June 28 of '99, until 5/5/00, I begin to feel a certain way for this girl, and feeling this way allowed me to write this. Thus, ending my poetic drought.
