Fishing

by Wayne Smith - Libra

The fish are a biting
The wind is whipping up
I think I'll reel my line in
And just give it up

But then all of a sudden
A mighty tug came to my line
I knew I had a fish on
Well,it was about time

Then I reared back with all my might
I wondered what it was
My ol' reel just sung a song
It couldn't be to long

Well in he came
And out he went
I played him like a pro
Would I get a look at him,I really didn't know

I finally got him into shore
A net was in my hand
I scooped him up and hauled him out
A cat-----12 pounds or more!.

Reason for writing:

This is a catfish I'm writing about and yes it really happened this way!
