I entered the room And slowly while I stood inside Everything came back to me I can remember the windows And how the sun came shining down on you I can remember you sitting beside me Looking pretty as you always do I can remember when I took your hand To hold, touch, dance or childfully play I can remember how your hands felt So soft, tender and gentle I remember looking into your eyes once Giving off a sense you weren't well I remember myself trying to cheer you up At times when things weren't right I can remember a smile for every joke And laughter if it was funny I remember giving you my poems And letting you judge them I remember how the other guys held you And the feeling of jealousy inside I remember the first poem I wrote for you Because it is you I like I remember the many more That came after As time to me moved so slow In this room we once shared a class I remembered the first time I hugged you This is when my feelings started to grow 9/8/99Birth sign: Capricorn
