The steam rises from my breath And for once I am calm. Singing into the dark night sky Hoping I can see My dearest Orion Who hides in the day But is my saviour in the night And I know that someday He will find me here Down on the cold earth as I lay And we Will be together During all hours of the day And someday we will Come to eachother On a whim and know We were meant to be But for now I just sit On the freezing nights Of early spring Holding up my heart to him And his gaze giving me warmth

Long have I loved, my Orion in the sky. Just now Has he come down from the heavens to join me here on the Earth.
