I see you standing there Smiling, looking deep into my eyes I feel your warmth through the silence Your spirit is holding me still I can't move or speak The moment is so special I'm afraid to do anything Afraid everything will be ruined if I did. I see you standing there Your eyes looking deep within my soul I can feel the power you have over me You've captured me in a spell I'm hypnotized by your beauty and love You make me feel special and wanted You make me feel needed and loved You make me complete. I see you standing there Waiting, waiting for something to happen You look at me; I look at you Our eyes locked together in perfect harmony You're special, an Angel sent from Heaven You look at me, and I can tell you love me And finally something happens... I wake up!
Reason for writing:
I wrote this poem about 2 years ago for this guy I was so in love with! We both loved each other very much, but we decided that since we go to different schools, and neither of us could drive, that we should break up... I still miss him. If I ever fall in love again, I want it to be as deep as the love John and I shared!
