LETTER TO THE MAN I NEARLY DIED FOR *

by Person needing assistance - Aquarius

I cried for you,
I layed down for you,
I screamed and hollared,
and damn near DIED for you.
In front of three strangers and all,
who will remember nothing of me,
but my bloody footsteps on the walls.

AND THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY ME?

I cried for you,
layed down for you,
tears shed,
as I nearly DIED for you.
And think it's okay to hurt me
the way you do?

While pain seared through me,
like a knife,
while I layed down on a table,
and gave your son LIFE.

Do you know how it feels,
to lay there and bleed?
To sprout a tree,
from a tiny seed?

I layed and I cried,
and I loved the man,
for which I nearly died. . .
In front of three strangers and all,
who will remember nothing of me,
but the scrubbing of my bloody footsteps,
from the wall. . .

Reason for writing:

Dedicated to men who nothing of the pain and sacrifice of childbirth.
