Silent Song

by Charles Mathew Tyner III - Scorpio

Quiet as a summers' night without the North winds.
As quiet as a valley in which nothing descends.
Mute as the silence within the eye of a storm.
Silent as the beginning of each day in which the sun adorns.
Shh...quiet...silence like this.
This song as quiet as the setting of the mist.
Quiet...silent as a lost souls last crys.
Silence deeper than the glare within a cats eyes.
All is hush, the world is at peace.
Intermission...silence is broken by a breaths release.
Times slows down, finally stands in place.
Sounds of breathing and hearts that begin to race.
The essence of time eternally begins again.
The wars on other plains silently waging.
No more noise at all, the silence wins.
But for this song it is never the end.
To be continued...

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem because it's based on factual knowledge of what I'm going through. "Silent Song" represents what is going on in the deepest regions of my soul. "Silent Song" is what can't be heard or seen in the physical, but felt by the soul with full emotion. No one knows my soul, but me. Wars wage on in everyone's soul, no denying. Those wars will continue to wage on until everyone reaches their destination. Heaven or Hell...you choose.
