nighttime what did i do nothing but wake up next to you so i get up and head out as i leave i give a joyous shout i get downstairs think about going back then i see the car cross the track the grass under my feet the litter on the ground i try to step lightly pound for pound the brown paper bags floating across the park they're singing those beautiful larks i can see the house of the pope as i walk i hope against hope that its not too late to turn around and start walking back the way i came and start talking but i walk not by choice i see that guy named rolls royce three days have passed since my last trip since mike tried a sunset flip so i turn down another street hope against hope that my friend did not get out the telescope finally i go home curl up in bed i don't know if you moved or i might be dead so i watch you carefully like a dope pray that you don't know hope against hopeBirth sign: Aries
