I could ask for strength to live through all of this. I could ask for better days and a better life. I could ask for relief from everything. But I won't. All I want is serenity. I could ask for a stronger relationship with God. I could ask for a stronger spirit. I could ask for anything my mind could conjure up. But I won't. All I want is serenity. Peace in my heart and soul. A spiritual balance between the light and the dark. The light is there and so is the darkness. Relieve me of the burdens and trials of my mind, soul, and heart. All I want is serenity. Is that too much to ask?
Reason for writing:
I've been needing serenity for a while now. Maybe I'll be granted serenity by releasing my feelings like this.
