have you cried yet, for Newtown? "no, not yet" well, you will, and it will hurt I might be there, to see you and many others do the same and I can't do or say anything because I did too cry for Newtown and the feeling will all be the same I, flooded with memories again tears of joy and happiness will come again and new tears will be born because now I'll miss, my seregant family of 2000 you and a few others will go and I can't do anything to hold time or to stop and pause a day for you and I to roam freely in to see if we can live it differently or if we can live what we might of missed once again, Newtown will be silenced for 2 months, or few to be exact the halls, classrooms, echoeless the desks, floors, garbage free maybe a wondering spirit from an older class will follow the footsteps of one particular student walk the same steps, and sit in the same seat, same class maybe this spirit of Newtown will reminisce of his or her own time here and will smile on the success of the student who this spirit decided to shadow first it was I, an part of '99 to leave now you, part of 2000 to go as the seniors leave this aging school older and quiter it gets and once back in session the more crowded may Newtown's school spirit live 6/26/00
Reason for writing:
I have written one for my year, 99...but I still had a fair amount of friends in 2000. Now that their leaving, I will miss them all the same.
