She walked in silence On a lonely summers night Sadness and greif overtook her mind But she did not cry She wondered where everyone had gone Why was she all alone? The darkness seemed to ease her It could calm her like no other Slowly, she lifted her head And looked up at the massive black sky And with the stars twinkling in the distance Showering their beauty upon her She began to cry
Reason for writing:
Stars amaze me. Whenever I'm in a bad mood, or I just feel like ass, I go outside at night and just lay in the grass and star gaze. It's so relaxing and really helps to free your mind. Not to mention those beautiful stars...
