Who Killed Who

by Dramatizer - Pisces

I woke up from a nightmare,
That was horrific and screwed.
As I awoke I yelled out loud,
I screamed so loud,
That the neighbors heard my yell.
They called the police,
And when they came,
They knocked the door down,
And came into my room.
They spoke of peace,
And screamed for me.
I turned and saw one of them and jumped,
Out my window.
I leaped two stories to get away,
From fear I know not,
But the guy who stood there,
I know I did.
I liked that dream for it was easy,
Because all the others, yes,
Were dread and hell.
I have not slept for days,
I am tired yet scared of the dream world,
And proud to know this knife,
That I own is sharp.
I stand here typing,
With a knife to my throat,
And a person behind me,
That needs no introduction.
For it is Death,
Yes it is Death.
I know I lied to myself,
But I am not a lonely man,
For my right hand man is there by me,
And Death at my left.
I think that they lied to me,
But I care not,
As Death kills me and I slump over.
I liked the feeling of that knife.
You have to wonder though,
Who killed who,
And what killed me.
Well I will leave that up to you,
To decide for it is your fate,
Not mine.
