Yesterday I had no responsibility no work, no problems, no cares Yesterday everyone was a friend Yesterday hopes and dreams meant something parents were my world, got everything I cried for. Yesterday love was easy Yesterday life was simple Yesterday was when I would go to school with reject shoes and wouldn't worry about what other kids thought of me because they wore the same rejects. Yesterday was when I realized that life does go on. And today is just today. Another day. Another day that the Lord has made. Another day that that is built upon tomorrow and has memories of Yesterday.
Reason for writing:
The reason for this poem was for me to deal with my sorrows. To understand what I was feeling, but more upon how I felt inside of me.
