An unknown beauty

by Lynn - Leo

The old lady was misunderstood as she cried
As the sky looked down and smiled upon her
They wanted her taken away, to a place she did not want to enter
The last touch of her love
Was a few years ago
They were old indeed
Still acting young
Riding on their bikes
Listening to the rain
And taking those pictures that lingered in thier heads forever
The rain was hard that day
Pounding on the ground
And she stood outside and let it hit her in a way that it was almost like God was touching her
Her eyes saw the beauty
She felt the mist as it touched her
She felt her love again.
She began to cry
A very strong cry
And it felt good
It calmed her, and felt peace
She never wanted that day to pass
She never wanted to feel pain again
For she knew if it did pass, she would die
Those tears were true from those wise eyes
They were real
She was floating in a sea of solace
As the currents rocked her
When the people began to draw her away
From her golden heaven
She fell upon the ground, crying
And spoke of a story when she and her husband made a painting together
A painting of the ground, after it was rained upon
They used the colors in a flowing manner
Almost as if they were saying
"I love you".
They were making the magic of love in their painting
Expressing the beauty in mysteries
A few people stood there
Shocked
Terrified to realize
They truely knew nothing about beauty
And as they felt the ground
Shudder upon their feet
They walked away
