Mother

by Dramatizer - Pisces

There was a boy
That came to my door
And I thought of you
I don’t know why I did
But I think it was because
You wanted a son
And I wouldn’t give you one
I am sorry that I can’t have children
It is not my fault I had the surgery
I could have died if I hadn’t
And I think you know that but
Instead you just shrug
It off your shoulders
And I just think that you
Yes you were scared
To hurt me more than already
But you didn’t have to leave
I just want you to know that
I have a family without you
Because we adopted
And I love them just like mine
So this is how I leave you
So bye
Sincerely
A mother of three
