Untitled - The coastal...

by JesterAngl - Scorpio

The coastal waters clear,
I raised my hand to wipe a tear.
The gentle sea breeze,
That brought about a sneeze.

From a distance I saw a Unicorn,
With a magnificent jewelled horn.
Large wonderful strides,
Along the coast, so wide.

Pretty,Strong wings,
A beautiful tail;
The finest of all living things,
My long wait was not in vain.

Still, it had to go away,
Leaving me alone at bay.
Looking forward to the next morn,
Awaiting the break of dawn......

The sky was crimson,
As the unicorn flew towards the horizon; I sat and waved goodbye,
Wishing that I ,too , could fly.

I continued to watch the tide,
Looking out at the ocean , so wide.
Will tomorrow be a better day?
The Gryphon did not say........
