It was a feeling A feeling so strong it made the fire burn brighter It cracked as patience lost it’s persistence Glowed as the faces grew red with the anger This feeling Swirled the room, with envy in it’s eyes And flashed faces like a polariod camera Each snap a thread holding the lies together The rush was the greatest ever known The power of hate drowned out the voice of logic It was the water, the enemy to this burning fire A grip One so strong nothing, not even the greatest bond could break Holding on to the lies, as though they were the wood that fed the fire What fire? Where did this rage this hate this envy find the fuel to make them burn Who had the tools to craft such work, to create this fire with little more than a smirk Where Yes where is the love the knowledge, that sins can be forgiven That God is not the only one with the power to forget Forget The slowly dwindling strength the breaking rope once had The power of the burning fire the pain it’s flames have caused And the voice of logic slowly consuming the flames This feeling so strong it caused such bliss The power it held, the freedom it gave This feeling that goes without a name It’s strengths are stronger than simple emotion It frees the heart to feel something real This is no mere emotion it’s a feeling with holding all emotions That can consume your heart if you get lost in the greatness it makes you feel, though the emotions may not be persuaded by happy endings, we yearn to know this pain or gain we want to know this bliss.
Reason for writing:
It pretty well explains itself, it's a really really, strong emotion, and sometimes you want to feel something like that. Tell me what you think.
