till dawn breaks

by john roadilla - Virgo

as the dew falls on my leaf
i pray thy hands would cast
a vision that springs ahead
giving life to this withering soul

i am not just a mournful shadow
but a dawn that kills pain
a sorrow for the rain
a lamb for the meat

dear someone, give me anyone
i break thee sadly
i bear the loaf of joy
come and treasure this

coz its not mine either
the dawn is conjuring nowadays
you cant stop the dawn
it hurts and it feels

Reason for writing:

peace is indeed hard to attain, you've got to be "open"
