I came to church to hear the choir sing our favorite songs I entered in the church that night so humbled and withdrawn I took my seat, up towards the front so I'd be close and near I closed my eyes as they began to sing sweet music in my ear They started singing with the saints, the choir dressed in blue I listened as I sat there, as the choir brought me to You I felt Your presence fill this place as I listened from my pew And wiped the tears upon my face, saying still I will trust You They sang that we shall see You and we won't cross Jordan alone My troubles seemed to melt away as I was taken to Your throne Jesus, You are welcome here, oh what a lovely name The Lamb has overcome my sin and I'll never be the same I came to church to hear the choir sing our favorite songs I entered in the church that night so humbled and withdrawn But I was lifted to a higher place and sat beneath Your throne And reminded, I am saved by grace, and never far from homeBirth sign: Libra
